All of our editing is done using Microsoft Word’s Track Changes feature. This allows you to go through each and every edit, accepting or rejecting the changes we’ve made. In this way, you are able to maintain authorial control.
Please note that, for a broader check of your novel’s strengths and weaknesses, the novel critique is both more suitable, and considerably cheaper. Alternatively, for a really thorough edit of your manuscript, we can combine the critique with the copyedit to make a three-step edit.
Pricing and ordering information
Copy editing prices vary according to the amount of work that the manuscript needs. To give you an idea, the prices range between US three cents / $0.03 per word (or UK a penny and half / £0.015) and US five cents / $0.05 per word (or UK two and a half pence / £0.025). This price includes two “steps”—the second is to catch any errors missed in the first, as well as any new ones that may have crept in.
