Jacqueline Gabbitas is a short fiction writer and poet.

Her stories and poems have been published in various magazines and anthologies including Cleaver, Contemporary Fairytales, Poetry Review and The Forward Prize Anthology (Faber & Faber), and her own poetry collections include Mid Lands (Hearing Eye), and Earthworks and Small Grass (both Stonewood Press).

She has also appeared on BBC Radio 3’s The Verb. She has received two Arts Council grants for her writing and is a Hawthornden Fellow.

Jacqueline is a writing mentor for Pen to Print, co-editor of Brittle Star literary magazine and the host of Unfeared: a new podcast of ghost stories written by women.
