Luiza Sauma was born in Rio de Janeiro and raised in London from the age of four. She recently quit her journalism job to do a Creative and Life Writing MA at Goldsmiths, University of London.

Her short stories have been published in Litro, Untitled Books, Notes from the Underground and others. She's writing a novel set in the Amazon city of Belém. It might take some time.
