Clarissa Dennison was born and raised in Norwich, and spent some years in Cambridge and London before moving to Northern Ireland in 1986. She worked as a counsellor until retiring in 2014. She loves walking on the North Antrim coast and in the wood which she planted twenty-five years ago on the family farm near Antrim. Occasionally she will muster the energy for small adventures, but usually prefers to stay at home, cooking, reading, and writing. She is married with two grown-up sons.
