Claire Parkin
Claire Parkin worked as a women's-magazine journalist for twenty years (as Claire Williams) before deciding to write fiction full-time. She has been shortlisted twice for the Bridport Prize and is currently working on her first novel. Originally from Wales, she lives in North London with her husband and twin son and daughter. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, running, baking, and sleeping (ideally in that order).
