At The Fiction Desk we take your right to privacy seriously. On this page, we’ve laid out exactly what we do - and what we don’t do - with the information we gather about you.

1. Our statistics

This website uses a simple statistics program to enable us to gather certain information about the people who use the site. This information tells us which countries our viewers come from, and what sort of browser and computer system they use. It also tells us where on the internet they came from, e.g. from a Google search, so that we can (for example) see how well one of our advertising campaigns is doing.

It doesn’t tell us anything personal about you; your name, your address, and who you are is nobody’s business but your own.

We use the information collected simply to see how many people are looking at our site, which countries they’re from, and how people are discovering our website.

2. Our ‘contact us’ form

If you choose to contact us through our contact form, we will only use the details you provide to enable us to reply to your enquiry. We don’t maintain a mailing list, so we won’t spam you, and we won’t sell your contact details to anybody else.
